Garden Sweeps Brown Mackie

    The Garden City baseball team swept a nonleague doubleheader from Brown Mackie College at Williams Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The Busters won the first game 4-2 behind a complete game performance from freshman Desmond Roberts (Bellevue, NE).  In game two sophomore Sam Thornton (Canberra, ACT) took the mound and gave Garden City another complete game performance in the 8-3 win.

    Garden City will be on the road this weekend when they take on the Colby Community College Trojans. Doubleheaders both days are scheduled for 1:00pm.
