Busters Win Cowley Super Regional

    The Garden City Community College baseball team traveled to Arkansas City, KS this past weekend to play in the Cowley College Super Regional. After defeating Kansas City Kansas Community College 10-2 in a run-rule shortened game, Garden lost to Cowley 8-6 and had to come back through the loosers bracket. The Busters defeated KCK 14-13 before defeating Cowley twice in elimination games 16-8 and 9-7.

    The team now will advance to the Region 6 Championship Tournament in Wichita, KS this weekend. All games will be played at historic Lawrence Dumont Stadium. Garden will square off against Colby Community College at 1:00pm on Saturday.
